Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week MS Tele assignment in Lexington, KY. The role involves third-shift, 12-hour shifts, and delivery of patient-centered nursing care on the unit.

You will perform rounds, assessments, plan and implement care, facilitate admissions, transfers and discharge, and provide patient and family education.

Active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse care team.

The RN fully implements patient care therapies and procedures with empowerment and clinical autonomy within the scope of practice in accordance with established policies, procedures, professional guidelines, culture, and age of the patient served.

The RN explains procedures, treatments, and processes to patients and families.

The RN recognizes, responds to, and communicates changes in patient condition appropriately.

The RN conducts and documents ongoing assessment and response to procedures and therapies using the nursing process according to hospital policy, established standards, culture, and age of the patient served.

The RN delegates tasks appropriately and oversees team members in the performance of activities regarding patient care.

The RN monitors the accuracy and completeness of delegated patient care provided by other team members in the implementation of the plan of care.

The RN identifies and addresses educational needs of patients related to prioritized problems according to level of comprehension.

The RN facilitates the patient discharge process by executing discharge orders in a timely manner, identifying potential discharges, assuring the performance of discharge teaching, and coordination of the plan with case management and others as indicated.

The RN provides input into patient/nurse assignments in consideration of available staffing, unit activity, and patient acuity.

The RN demonstrates active participation in unit-based activities in support of organizational values/priorities.

The RN promotes a positive group dynamic and healing environment through words and actions.

The RN assures nursing excellence in accordance with accepted standards, evidence-based practice, current research, and caring philosophy.
