Job summary

Medical City Frisco in Frisco, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Mother Baby to provide patient-centered care, advocate for mothers and newborns, and collaborate with the care team.

You will plan and deliver goal-directed nursing care, apply evidence-based practice, and coordinate with the Nursing Department to support safe, compassionate childbirth and neonatal services.

Qualifications

• Plan and provide individualized nursing care for newborns and mothers.
• Coordinate care autonomously using evidence-based practices.
• Must hold an RN license and an Associate Degree.
• BLS, NRP and STABLE certifications required within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individualized nursing care.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Staff Nurse is responsible for planning and providing individual goal directed nursing care that promotes, advocates for, and strives to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family and community. The nurse possesses knowledge of the principles of growth and development and the particular skills necessary to provide optimum patient care to the population for which he or she is employed. The RN is accountable for their practice and care coordination. The RN is expected to practice autonomously utilizing evidence based practices. The practice of the Registered Nurse will support the mission, vision and values of Medical City Frisco – A Medical City Plano Facility and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• STABLE must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
