Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient-centered care on the Med Surg Unit. You will interact with patients, families and the care team, assess needs, and develop and evaluate the care plan.

Join a night-shift, full-time team at Monroe Regional Hospital in Louisiana, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and staff collaboration. Current RN license and CPR are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training; specialty certifications as required by units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period; at least 1 hour related to Chapter 4723.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica’s world‑class patient care team. As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision‑making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse
• Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
