Job Description:

36hrs per week 65hr 16 week contract Follows strict infection prevention precautions. Adheres to policies and procedures regarding all aspects of medication safety. Sets measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care. Prioritizes and completes follow-up assessments, evaluating and modifying plans of care as needed. Applies knowledge and skills pertaining to all diagnoses, procedures, medications, complications, and equipment associated with unit patient population.

• Previous experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record [Preferred]
• Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred]
• EPIC [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 2 + years of recent RN MICU experience in the past 12 months [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) [Preferred]
• Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS) [Preferred]
• Basic EKG Certification (BEKG) [Preferred]

• Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) [Preferred]
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) [Preferred]
• NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program [Preferred]
