Job summary

Highmark Health's Allegheny General Hospital MICU is seeking an experienced RN to provide care for critically ill patients in a 28-bed unit with private rooms. You will work under the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in discharge planning.

Unit Description

THE UNIT: Allegheny General's MICU is a 28 bed unit providing intensive care to critically ill patients. All rooms are private to ensure patient comfort and privacy. The MICU primarily serves patients with diagnoses such as respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-system organ failure.
