Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a MICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Bridgeport, CT. This 10-bed MICU unit requires ACLS/BLS, active RN license, and EPIC charting experience. The RN will manage ventilated patients and participate in complex critical care tasks.

The role features 3x12 night shifts, every other weekend, and floating as needed, with strong teamwork across the medical ICU.

Qualifications

Description:Position is for a MICU Registered Nurse.The shift will be 3x12 nights.The RN will work every other weekend and float as needed.Must have 2 years of ICU experience.ACLS and BLS certifications are required.Experience with EPIC is mandatory.The unit is a 10-bed medical ICU.This is a short-term acute care hospital.It is classified as a Level II trauma center.The RN will be responsible for patient care, including managing ventilated patients and administering emergency medications.Other responsibilities include central line care, arterial line management, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.The nurse will provide care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.Additional skills such as starting and maintaining IVs, and PICC line management are essential for this position.The RN is expected to engage in continuous learning and adhere to safety protocols.This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.A reference will be required.
