Job summary

ProMedica Fremont Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for per diem shifts. You will coordinate and evaluate patient care, working with families and the health team to deliver compassionate and evidence-based nursing services.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and ensuring quality outcomes in a dynamic obstetrics setting. Ohio licensure and CPR are required; shift variability is expected.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse is required.
• CPR training must be current.
• Specialty certifications as required by nursing units.
• Ohio RN licensure requires 24 contact hours of CE during licensure period.
• At least 1 hour of CE must relate to Ohio nurse practice code.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica’s world-class patient care team. By providing patient-centered care through sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience, ProMedica nurses are dedicated to improving health outcomes for our patients and for the communities we serve. As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan. In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period.
• At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
