Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Telemetry in Wilson, North Carolina. This contract position runs for 13 weeks with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and shifts at 7A or 7P.

The RN will monitor adult and geriatric patients using telemetry, interpret EKGs and vital signs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care. BLS/ACLS required; BSN preferred, Meditech experience welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Meditech experience preferred.
• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry unit will provide care for adult and geriatric patients, monitoring vital signs and addressing their unique medical needs. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, equipped with vital monitoring technology and electronic health records via Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret patient EKGs and vital signs.
• Manage discharges and admissions.
• Administer medications and basic cardiac drips.
• Provide care for conditions such as CHF, COPD, and CKD.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Meditech experience preferred.
• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
