Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide high-quality care across the lifecycle, from birth onward, using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within policy and with accountability.

We support growth and offer a sign-on bonus. RN licensure in Georgia and BCLS are required; new graduates are welcome. This role emphasizes coordination of patient care among assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred for PRN positions.
• RN license and BCLS required; state licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
