Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide holistic nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, while coordinating activities of the care team in a hospital setting.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure and BCLS, with preferences for new graduates or those with hospital experience. Advanced certifications are encouraged where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia required.
• BCLS required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice.
• Work within organizational policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

Responsibilities: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Education

Work Experience
