Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an RN Staff Nurse to provide compassionate care from birth through the life cycle, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You’ll function within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in delivering quality care, with BCLS and GA RN licensure

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia; BCLS required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff and uphold standards of practice.
