Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within organizational policies.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure (state or compact), BLS, and ongoing unit-specific certifications. New graduates are eligible for PRN shifts; experienced nurses are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Georgia or eligible for licensure
• BCLS certification required
• Advanced certifications as per unit requirements (ACLS/PALS etc.) within specified timeframes

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Additional Required Certifications: PALS Certification - required at Piedmont Columbus Hospital (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date) PEARS or PALS Certification - required at Piedmont Athens Hospital (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date) within 180 Days Required
