Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a registered nurse for Med-Surg nights. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adults, collaborate with Physicians, Pharmacists, and Therapists, and participate in ongoing professional development.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, and hospital experience; new graduates may be considered for PRN positions. The unit is a 23-bed acute care setting with diverse cases and a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • RN required with Georgia licensure or multistate licensure.
  • BCLS required; Advanced certification in field of specialty preferred.
  • Experience in hospital setting preferred; new grads eligible for PRN positions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments including data on physical, psychosocial and health history.
  • Develop and implement plan of care; evaluate outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with ancillary staff and physicians.
  • Document care in patient records.
  • Communicate issues to Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager/physician.
