Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the life span using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within established policies and participate in professional growth.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care activities for all assigned staff, maintaining standards of practice, and ensuring quality outcomes in a busy hospital setting in Atlanta, GA.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred for advancement and scope of practice.
• New Graduates of a nursing program eligible for PRN and staff nurse roles.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:Education

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
