Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a licensed staff nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifecycle in a Georgia hospital. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to organizational policies and standards.

In addition to RN licensure in Georgia and BCLS, advanced certifications are encouraged to demonstrate specialty expertise and support ongoing professional growth within a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• The staff nurse coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care, within policy and procedures.

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
