Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a staff nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care from birth through the life cycle. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care within organizational policies, and you will coordinate care among the team to uphold high standards of practice.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with Georgia RN licensure, BCLS certification, and may include a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• No prior experience required; new graduates eligible for PRN or staff positions.
• Current Georgia RN licensure (NLC/eNCL multistate license) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff and maintain standards of practice.
