Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process. The role focuses on delivering safe, effective care and collaborating with the health care team to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing; a BSN is preferred. Current SC RN licensure or a compact state license, plus BLS and ACLS, are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current SC RN license or compact state license. BLS required; ACLS also required.
• 36 hours per week with a $30,000 sign-on bonus for new hires with experience.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required.
