Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, coordinating care using the nursing process and reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director. The role emphasizes collaboration, patient education, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position supports ongoing professional development, teamwork, and delivery of safe, cost-effective care for adults with diverse needs on a 48-bed medical/surgical unit with night shifts.

• Use patient education materials and assess readiness to learn.
• Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with team to evaluate care and ensure continuity.

• Perform point-of-care testing and follow standards and policies.
• Organize and prioritize care; consult resources for complex issues.
• Set and achieve professional growth goals; support unit objectives.
• Communicate effectively and give feedback to coworkers.

• Assess patient needs, anticipate discharge, and support family advocacy.
• Plan care collaboratively, using multidisciplinary resources and cultural awareness.
