Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for Med Surg in Fort Worth, TX. The 13-week contract requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM on a 12-bed Med Surg unit with a 6:1 patient-nurse ratio.

You will provide nursing care, collaborate with the team, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and document progress in Meditech EMR.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Basic EKG interpretation skills required.
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Travel Registered Nurse for our Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver high-quality patient care. The Med Surg 3W unit has a total of 12 beds, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Document care and patient progress in Meditech EMR system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Basic EKG interpretation skills
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR
