Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for an acute care unit. The role involves 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am–7:00 pm) with rotating weekends and three shifts per week; days to be discussed in interview.

This major teaching and research center offers diverse specialty units and a strong commitment to world-class healthcare. Required are an accredited nursing program graduate status, an active RN license, and BLS certification within 30 days.

Patient Population: Heart arrhythmias, Chest pain, MI, Post Cardiac Procedures, Renal Failure, Pneumonia, Sepsis, CHF, Cardiac Drips, Hypertensive Emergencies on Cardene Drip as well as some neurological patients on NIHSS assessment

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• Must have 1+ years of experience in Acute Care in a hospital setting
• License/Certification
• RN – Registered Nurse with no restrictions or stipulations
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
