Trinity Health Livonia is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, night-shift role on a 27-bed telemetry-capable Medical-Surgical floor. The unit treats diverse conditions with team-based care, in a hospital setting in Livonia, MI.

Requirements include Michigan RN licensure, BLS, and either a BSN or commitment to obtain one within five years; CNA/tech support not specified. The organization emphasizes excellent patient care, safety, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Michigan RN license and BLS certification.
• BSN preferred or commit to obtaining within five years.
• Proficient with computer systems and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care within a 36-hour weekly schedule on a 12-hour shift.
• Teach and delegate patient activities to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate compassionate, patient-centered care in a telemetry-capable Medical-Surgical unit.

4W: This 27-bed telemetry-capable Medical-Surgical floor provides care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, urinary tract infections (UTIs), COPD, and more. This unit operates as a highly functioning team, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent, high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Summary

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associates degree in Nursing required. BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. BLS required. Previous medical surgical experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
