Job summary

Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator (RN MTA) to join our healthcare team at Waushara County Jail in Wisconsin. This role combines hands-on nursing with clinical coordination to ensure quality patient care within a correctional setting, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

You will oversee daily medical services, support staff, and coordinate care with providers while maintaining accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse with current Wisconsin license.
• Experience in clinical coordination and leadership within a healthcare setting.
• Ability to coordinate daily medical services in a correctional facility.
• Strong communication with correctional staff and medical providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily healthcare services while supporting quality, patient-centered care.
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments, and respond to changing patient needs.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to healthcare staff.
• Coordinate patient care with medical providers and other members of the healthcare team.
• Communicate effectively with correctional personnel and facility leadership regarding healthcare operations.
• Help maintain consistent clinical practices and compliance with established protocols and company policies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Support the organization of daily medical department activities and continuity of care.
• Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize responsibilities and address patient care needs.
