Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide coordinated nursing care to an assigned group of patients while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Unit details include 29 Med/Surg/Telemetry beds, 3 Step-Down beds, and nurse-to-patient ratios around 1:5 and 1:3, with Cerner as the documentation system and EPIC experience required per requisition.

Qualifications

• Recent Med/Surg/Acute Care experience preferred.
• EPIC experience – REQUIRED per requisition.
• ACLS – Required
• BLS/CPR – Required
• PALS – Preferred/optional for first contract; if traveler extends, PALS must be obtained
• BSN preferred
• Important EMR note: EPIC is required, Cerner is current system.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care to Med/Surg patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Manage patient documentation within the EMR (Cerner/EPIC).

Requirements
