Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current California RN license required.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing and healthcare leadership experience.
• CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS, and CNOR certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Medical Department to ensure efficient healthcare services.
• Coordinate patient care with surgeons, physicians, and care teams to facilitate communication and continuity.
• Oversee Surgery Weekends, Medical Program Committees, staffing, scheduling, and resources.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and monitor resources.
• Represent the organization in community and professional settings.
