Scripps Health is hiring for a Registered Nurse on a 60-bed Med/Surg and Oncology unit in La Jolla, San Diego. The role involves direct patient care, planning and evaluating outcomes, and collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality care.

The position is full-time, 12-hour night shifts, located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. CA RN license and BLS are required, with at least one year of oncology RN experience in acute care. Incentives up to $7K may apply.

This 60 bed Med/Surg and Oncology unit prides itself on offering excellence in patient care. As a Model Care and designated training unit, you will have the opportunity to positively impact new nurses and be part of fostering new grads to be successful.

With a 4/5:1 Nurse to Patient ratio, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. You will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

This position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
