Job summary

Cooley Dickinson Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Infusion Center. You will deliver patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and meet established clinical standards to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role is onsite at 30 Locust Street in Northampton, MA. Requires RN license in Massachusetts, BLS, and at least 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience. Pay range: $42.19–$72.88 per hour; base pay plus benefits.

Job Summary

The Medical Infusion Center Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Other Certificate/Diploma Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] - required

Basic Life Support - required

Experience

One year Medical/Surgical experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Successful completion of education and demonstration of clinical competence for the practice of Therapeutic Phlebotomy within 3 months of hire
• Administration of Chemotherapy
• Port Access skills required
• Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required
