Job summary

The RN positions at St. Charles Health System include bedside care on various units throughout the Bend, Oregon area. This relief role covers Day Shifts and requires strong patient- and family-centered care, with supervision of other caregivers as needed during the shift.

Candidates must hold an Oregon RN license, BLS certification, and ideally ACLS; BSN is preferred. Experience in endoscopy and diverse acute care settings is valued.

Qualifications

• RN licensure as required by Oregon laws.
• BSN preferred for advanced practice.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• ACLS preferred: department-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and needs using clinical judgment and plan nursing care.
• Administer medications and monitor effects according to policy.
• Document all patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, social and intellectual needs.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals.
