Job summary

Saint Luke’s East in Lee’s Summit, MO is hiring an experienced RN to our Medical Telemetry unit. This is a Full Time Nights shift (7p-7a) in an in-hospital setting with a supportive team culture and opportunities to focus more on patient care.

The role involves performing patient care, supervising staff, coordinating care plans, and collaborating with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes. BLS certification and RN licensure required; less than 1 year experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree
• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
