Job summary

Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood is seeking Registered Nurses to deliver direct and individualized patient care using the nursing process. Nurses collaborate with other disciplines to ensure quality outcomes and interact with patients and families while upholding professional standards.

Telemetry RNs will monitor ECG and heart rate data, connect patients to monitoring equipment, and maintain confidentiality. Orientation requires ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD).
• Registered Nurse license required.
• CPR-BCLS certification.
• ACLS required before completion of orientation.
• NIH Stroke Scale required before completion of orientation.
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities.

Responsibilities

• Telemetry Registered Nurses provide care by connecting patients to machines that monitor electrocardiogram and heart rate information. Telemetry nurses read and interpret data to better determine patient care.
