Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse on the Lake Pointe unit for PRN Nights to support Stroke, Chest Pain, Med-surg and Telemetry patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5, and candidates must have at least 2 years of true, recent Telemetry RN experience.

As part of a community-based hospital system, you will collaborate with a dedicated team, follow nursing practice models, and participate in pathways toward Magnet designation.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 2 years of true, recent Telemetry RN experience.
• RN license required; BLS as per hire/within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for stroke, chest pain, medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Prioritize needs, create and adjust care plans.
• Collaborate with health care team to implement an integrated plan of care.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.
