Job description

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment while working rotating 12-hour day and night shifts. Flexibility and strong clinical skills in telemetry monitoring are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies
• Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and discharge processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Minimum 18 months permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
• Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
• Required certifications:
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• 13‑week contract position (extension possible)
• Shift is 12 hrs/Rotating (Days/Nights)), 36 hrs/week
• Location is Cleveland, OH 44195
• Pay Rate for Locals: $60 - $65 hourly
