Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across shifts in collaboration with physicians and the care team. You will support goals to elevate patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

In this role, you will assess patients, administer medications, and document care while maintaining compassionate advocacy for patients and families. Involvement in hospital councils and nursing initiatives is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN (state of practice)
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, promptly reporting changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care thoroughly.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests while anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, medications and follow-up, translating medical terms as needed.
