Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team, follow established nursing models, and advocate for patients and families to ensure outstanding outcomes.

You will assess, perform, teach, and manage care, document thoroughly, and educate patients and families about their condition and treatment plan.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or higher).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts, promptly reporting changes.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and respond quickly to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up care.
