Job summary

Piedmont in Jasper, Georgia is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in coordination with the nursing team while maintaining high standards of practice.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current Georgia RN license. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• New Graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• Current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse required.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
