Qualifications

• RN license in the appropriate state (or compact license)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• Associate degree in nursing is required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic effects, and document care in the medical record
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively address needs
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps
