Job summary

Advocate Health invites applications for a Registered Nurse on the Sheboygan County Med/Surg 2 unit. The role supports orthopedic, neurological, and complex medical patients with a 36-hour workweek across three shifts (3:00 PM–3:00 AM), including every third weekend and every other holiday.

You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, document accurately in the EHR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in applicable state; BLS required.
• BSN preferred.
• Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care for Med/Surg Ortho Neuro patients using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and document in the EHR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality care.
• Float to other units as needed and uphold ethical standards.
