Job summary

UKG is seeking an Registered Nurse for 5 East: Med Surg/Oncology in Chesapeake, VA. The RN will provide clinically competent patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires Virginia RN license or compact state, and BLS within 90 days. A BSN is preferred and prior oncology experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Virginia or compact state.
• Must obtain BLS within 90 days.
• Associates or better in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year oncology background preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, clinically competent patient care using the nursing process.
• Interact effectively with patients, significant others, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure quality care and efficient use of resources within the Nurse Practice Act of Virginia.
