Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is looking for a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. You will apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within established policies, collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements include RN licensure in Georgia (or NLC/eNCL multistate) and BCLS. New graduates are welcome; hospital experience is preferred and additional certifications may be required for

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible (Required).
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse with Georgia licensure or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Functions within organization policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities among assigned staff.
