Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit on the 4th floor in Round Rock, TX. The role provides direct patient care, conducts assessments, develops care plans, and collaborates with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient education, coordination of care, and adherence to the Texas Nursing Practice Act. The position is full-time, night shift (7p-7a) with Epic Charting and 36-bed unit ratios.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of nursing
• RN license
• BLS certification or within 30 days of starting

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.

Essential Functions Of The Role
