Job summary

AdventHealth in Chatsworth, GA is hiring an experienced RN for night-weekend shifts on a full-time basis. You will assess patients, administer medications, document care, and educate families, while coordinating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and 1+ year of hospital nursing experience. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered for eligible candidates, with potential for salary growth through the Clinical Ladder program.

Qualifications

RN with 1+ year hospital/acute care nursing experience
Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written) and able to work night/weekend shifts
Active RN license and BLS certification required

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments per orders.
Develop and adjust SMART care plans with patients and families.
Document care activities accurately in the EMR.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nurses to coordinate care.
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Provide safe patient care and supervision of nursing assistants.
Ensure safety and adherence to policies; participate in shift handoffs and rounds.
