Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg 5E. This full-time night shift position covers 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36-hour work week and a sign-on bonus for experienced and new graduate nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ADN, Diploma, or BSN.
• Current Missouri RN license or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Hospital experience preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams for effective outcomes.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
