Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia seeks a Registered Nurse to contribute to patient- and family-centered care. You will use the nursing process to develop care plans and address the physical, emotional, and social needs of a diverse patient population.

You will collaborate with care partners, educate patients, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while adhering to hospital protocols and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma in nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) strongly preferred within 3 years.
• Current RN license for Pennsylvania and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and family-centered approach.
• Educate patients and families, addressing learning needs and priorities.
• Follow protocols to minimize risk and use IT to communicate and document care.
• Monitor outcomes and participate in quality improvement within teams.
• Support discharge planning and post-discharge needs with families.
• Engage in ongoing learning and participate in hospital committees.
