Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg at a hospital in Mattoon, Illinois. This full-time night-shift position (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) offers competitive pay and a $10,000 sign-on bonus based on experience.

The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and strive for optimal clinical outcomes. Active Illinois RN license and ADN or higher are required; BLS/CPR within 90 days, ACLS within 90 days, and Med/Surg experience are strongly

Qualifications

Active RN License – Illinois is required.
Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Med/Surg experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
Provide leadership and supervision to healthcare team members during the assigned shift.
Coordinate patient care assignments and ensure continuity of care.
Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes in patient status.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
Document patient care, treatment, and progress accurately.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
