Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, from birth onward. You will use established nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while adhering to hospital policies and standards.

You will maintain standards of practice and coordinate care with an assigned team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes, professional growth, and accountability within a supportive system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing. Required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia (see Licenses) and BCLS certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Functions within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality care.
