Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse in the Nephrology/Urology Unit in Athens, GA. This full-time day shift (7am–7pm) position offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities to train in Peritoneal Dialysis, a unique service in the area.

The staff nurse will provide patient-centered care across the lifecycle, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain high standards of practice while adjusting to patient acuity and unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; New Graduates eligible.
• 1 year hospital setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability.
• Extenuating circumstances may determine lower or higher nurse-to-patient ratios.

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
