Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med-Surg at Memorial Regional Medical Center. The role involves assessing patient status, providing care for medical and surgical diagnoses, and implementing nursing interventions to improve outcomes.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and develop care plans in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Nursing (preferred), an active RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Current state RN license (required).
• One year RN experience (required).
• BLS certification preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Med-Surg unit.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, chart and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per Mercy Health policies.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
