Job summary

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure (or multi-state licensure through eNLC) required.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
• Preferred certification in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide transformational leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans.
• Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
• Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
• Participate in professional development and seek learning opportunities.
• Advocate for patients and assess patient/family satisfaction.
