Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH seeks an RN for the Med/Surg Float Pool to provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and advocate for patients in a dynamic environment.

You will administer meds, monitor patients, educate families, maintain records, and uphold infection control while supporting emergent situations on the night shift; a NH RN license and BLS are required, with a $5,000 sign-on for FT.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 0-1 year hospital or managed care experience preferred.
• Current RN License in New Hampshire required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and assist in treatments and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions.
• Uphold infection control measures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Respond efficiently and effectively to emergent situations, demonstrating sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
