Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse Georgia licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintains standards of practice and accountability while coordinating patient care activities.
• Works within organizational policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth.

Education
