Job summary

International Executive Service Corps is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Bluffton, Indiana to coordinate total nursing care under supervision. You will teach patients and families, lead nursing staff, and ensure standards of professional practice on the unit.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process, collaborating with physicians, and maintaining competencies. Requires RN licensure, BCLS within 6 months, and strong communication skills. ACLS is a preferred qualification.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BCLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and assess patient status.
• Interpret information to identify patient needs per age-specific policies.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Communicate with patient and family to address learning needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care for patients on the unit.
• Collaborate with Physician on patient condition, orders, and treatment plan.
• Demonstrate leadership of LPNs, aides, and secretaries to ensure quality care.
• Comply with organizational policies and hospital compliance.
• Maintain department competencies for patient care.
• Promote service excellence and patient satisfaction.
